Grant monies will be distributed from proceeds of Vegetable Garden Tours held in the summers of 2010 and 2011. Grant awards of not more than $500 will be made to applicants seeking funding for projects involving gardening, food production and education, and neighborhood beautification. All projects must be done in Ward 3 but those who live outside the ward can apply for funding for such projects. No portion of the grant monies may be used to pay salaries, and all projects must be completed within one year of date of award. The deadline for submitting an application for funding will be January 10, 2012. Final decisions regarding grants to be funded will be made by the review committee and the Board of Directors of the Ward 3 Neighborhood Association.
